Congratulations to the BHS Boys swimming for placing 7th at the IHSAA Swim meet! The team (consisting of seniors Ricky Zillmer and Gage Rath, Juniors Trey Gross, Jacob Mitvalsky, Kiefer Roemer, Mateo Surma, Hudson Weaver, and Nick Schmidt and Sophomore Oscar Schmit) exhibited great time drops and ended with several podium finishes! The Medley Relay (Mitvalsky, Gross, Surma, Schmit) placed 16th. In the 200 Free, we had 3 placements (Zillmer 6th, Weaver 12th, and Surma 16th). Romer finished 5th in the 200 IM. Mitvalsky placed 10th in the 50 free and Zillmer placed 6th in the 100 Fly. The 200 Free Relay (Mitvalsky, Zillmer, Weaver and Roemer) placed third with an All-American Consideration time. Roemer placed 3rd in the 100 Breast with another All-American Consideration time. The 400 Free Relay (Zillmer, Surma, Weaver and Roemer) placed 5th with yet another All-American Consideration Time. Head Coach Mike Ahrens, Assistant Coach Fenner Hengst and the boys finished off with another great season! #BettPride
