The BHS Music Department had a successful weekend hosting 10 schools at BHS: 13 orchestras, 23 choirs, 13 bands, and 2,384 students!
The Wind Ensemble and Chamber Orchestra each received "Division I" "Superior" ratings, with the Full Orchestra, Treble Choir, and Mixed Choir receiving "Division II" "Excellent" ratings, the Symphonic Band receiving a "Division III" "Good" rating, and String Orchestra Divison II Excellent rating.
The directors would like to thank our custodial and secretarial help, as well as all of our parent volunteers, for making this event a success—we couldn't have done it without them!
The BHS Jazz, Percussion, and Color Guard will perform this Wednesday evening (May 8) at 7:00 PM, with the Instrumental Awards Concert the following Tuesday, May 14th.
