The Bettendorf Community School District is expanding access to its logos and trademarked Bett graphic. At the November 11th board workshop, district leaders reviewed the current branding guidelines and discussed options for allowing youth athletic feeder programs and coaches who operate summer athletic camps access to district graphics. The board provided direction to staff to expand the use of the Bett graphic to include Bettendorf youth sports programs and coach-led camps, pending an application, written license agreement, and district approval of graphic usage.

“Our district graphics are widely recognized within our community and across the state as strong symbols of Bettendorf Community School District pride,” said Dr. Michelle Morse, Superintendent. “Our community youth organizations are passionate about sharing that pride and connection to the high school. We are excited to implement a solution that enables our coaches and community feeder programs to use the district’s brand in a way that upholds the integrity and student-centered values of the district.”

Logo use-request applications are now available on the district’s branding guidelines webpage at https://bit.ly/BettBranding

The Bett graphic has been a symbol of the Bettendorf Community School District since 1980. In 2022, the district logos were updated to utilize this iconic graphic. It represents the district’s ongoing commitment to excellence and the enrichment of students' lives. When the district’s branding guidelines were initially released in 2022, and trademarked in January 2024, the district reserved its graphics for official district activities, schools, programs, and services. This new initiative marks an expansion of access to community groups supporting Bettendorf youth.
